By installing or using NetCage, you accept these terms. For every publish request under revision 2026-09-01, you must also accept the Cage Pack publishing terms.
You may use NetCage on a device you control for personal or commercial purposes; you may not resell the app or present it as your own product. You remain responsible for the rules, schedules and profiles you apply on the device.
NetCage is provided as-is, without a promise that the cage will run without interruption or suit a particular risk. Android controls the VPN slot; another VPN replaces NetCage, and phone makers can stop background services. Do not rely on NetCage where a missed block could cause harm. NetCage does not filter domains, websites, ads, trackers or content.
The optional root engine is experimental, off by default and has not run on rooted hardware; its tests prove command construction, not behaviour on your phone. The Android VPN engine remains the supported default and fallback.
The firewall works without an account. Backup, in-app support and publishing a Cage Pack require Google sign-in so the stored record has an owner. You may delete the account at any time in Settings. The public /delete-account page also provides a prominent link to the Google sign-in and deletion-confirmation flow at /account. Deletion removes its cloud records and published packs; device-only cages stay on that phone until you clear the app’s data or uninstall it.
A Cage Pack is a public-by-link, editable profile containing a name, emoji and Android package list. By publishing one, you choose to make those fields and an opaque publisher ID available to anyone with the link. Do not include personal or confidential information in the name, and do not publish content you are not prepared for other people to copy or share. Importing a pack leaves its profile switched off; you decide whether to edit or activate it. That choice is yours.
Do not publish hate or harassment, sexual or violent content, illegal instructions, impersonation, malware promotion or deceptive links. Pack names also cannot contain a link or control character. These rules apply to the name, emoji and package list taken together, including a list arranged to promote harmful or deceptive software.
Anyone who can open a pack may report it without signing in. The first valid report makes the pack unavailable for new imports while the developer reviews it. After review, the developer may restore or remove the pack and may suspend its publisher from publishing again. A publisher block is personal to one installation: it prevents that phone from opening packs carrying the same opaque publisher ID, and you can remove the block in Settings.
The current general terms and their effective date appear on this page. You must review and accept a new Cage Pack publishing revision before publishing again; an older acceptance does not carry forward. Changes show their effective date.
